What’s new

Everything that has changed in Atrium lately, newest first.

  1. Pages shared with you open again, and a fresh link when you need one

    • Clicking a page under "Shared with me" in the sidebar opens it.
    • After accepting an invite, "Open page" takes you straight to the page.
    • The Share window has "Get a new link". The old link stops working, and people you invited by email keep their access.
    • Removing someone now tells you exactly what changes for them, and people who need a changed password are marked in your list.
    • Uploaded gallery photos now show on shared pages, including for visitors who are not signed in.

  2. Send a teammate straight to a page, and search finds more

    • Search now finds pages and workspaces by name, widgets by their title, and study trackers by study name, protocol number, site, investigator or study contact.
    • Clicking a search result in another company or department takes you straight there.
    • Every page’s menu in the sidebar has "Copy link". A colleague who can see the page opens it straight from the link, even from another company or department view.
    • Anyone who cannot see the page gets a clear "This page isn’t available to you" instead.
    • Everyone who can open a company page now sees all of its gallery photos, not just the ones they uploaded themselves.

  3. Names in the tucked-away sidebar, and a rebuilt Bookmark Manager

    • Tuck the sidebar away and every workspace and page still shows its name, so switching takes a glance instead of a guess.
    • The Bookmark Manager is rebuilt: every bookmark, group and bookmarks widget across your workspaces in one window, with duplicate, copy and move in the same place, in your own theme, and nothing running off the edge.
    • Gallery photos can be moved up, down, left or right from a menu, with no dragging.
    • A gallery on a shared page you can edit shows its photos instead of an empty space.

  4. A welcome when you arrive, and a note if you drift away

    • New accounts now get a short welcome within a day of confirming their email address.
    • Anyone who has not opened Atrium for a month gets one friendly check-in, and only one.
    • Both carry a one-click unsubscribe, and both can be switched off under Preferences.

  5. Atrium installs like an app

    • Install Atrium from Chrome or Edge and it lives in your taskbar, dock or phone home screen, opening straight onto your dashboard with no address bar.
    • A new What’s new page, and a dot on the Help button when there is something here you have not read.

  6. Reminders reach you with Atrium closed

    • A reminder now arrives by email at the time you set it, even with no tab open.
    • Every reminder can choose how it reaches you: in Atrium, by email, both, or neither.
    • A new Notifications section in Settings turns reminder emails off for good.
    • Every email Atrium sends now looks the same as the rest of Atrium.
    • Fixed the theme picker, which had refused to change themes since the end of August.

  7. Signing up, and finding things

    • Confirming your email now finishes the job in the tab you are in, instead of asking you to go back to another one.
    • Password problems say what is actually wrong rather than always claiming it is too short.
    • Two recovery forms that had never worked now do.
    • Every search result opens the thing it found, instead of only the page it lives on.

  8. Expiry dates on shared pages

    • A shared page stops working the moment its expiry date passes.
    • Invitations to a page are created and changed by its owner.

  9. Updates no longer break an open tab

    • A tab left open through a release quietly reloads itself once and carries on, instead of filling with widgets that refuse to load.

  10. A calmer dark mode, and a sign-out you control

    • Signing out after a period of inactivity is now a setting you switch on, off by default.
    • The page behind your widgets is a deeper black, so panels read as panels.
    • Weather, Focus Timer and Habit Tracker gained softly lit surfaces.

  11. Bookmarks that have gone dead

    • Atrium can check your bookmarks and show you which ones no longer lead anywhere, everywhere they appear.
    • A readability pass across the whole app: darker panels, calmer accents, easier text.

  12. Archives and exports you can trust

    • Archiving a workspace now stores everything inside it, so restoring one brings it all back.
    • Downloading your account data now covers every table your information lives in.
