What’s new

Everything that has changed in Atrium lately, newest first.

  1. A welcome when you arrive, and a note if you drift away

    • New accounts now get a short welcome within a day of confirming their email address.
    • Anyone who has not opened Atrium for a month gets one friendly check-in, and only one.
    • Both carry a one-click unsubscribe, and both can be switched off under Preferences.

  2. Atrium installs like an app

    • Install Atrium from Chrome or Edge and it lives in your taskbar, dock or phone home screen, opening straight onto your dashboard with no address bar.
    • A new What’s new page, and a dot on the Help button when there is something here you have not read.

  3. Reminders reach you with Atrium closed

    • A reminder now arrives by email at the time you set it, even with no tab open.
    • Every reminder can choose how it reaches you: in Atrium, by email, both, or neither.
    • A new Notifications section in Settings turns reminder emails off for good.
    • Every email Atrium sends now looks the same as the rest of Atrium.
    • Fixed the theme picker, which had refused to change themes since the end of August.

  4. Signing up, and finding things

    • Confirming your email now finishes the job in the tab you are in, instead of asking you to go back to another one.
    • Password problems say what is actually wrong rather than always claiming it is too short.
    • Two recovery forms that had never worked now do.
    • Every search result opens the thing it found, instead of only the page it lives on.

  5. Expiry dates on shared pages

    • A shared page stops working the moment its expiry date passes.
    • Invitations to a page are created and changed by its owner.

  6. Updates no longer break an open tab

    • A tab left open through a release quietly reloads itself once and carries on, instead of filling with widgets that refuse to load.

  7. A calmer dark mode, and a sign-out you control

    • Signing out after a period of inactivity is now a setting you switch on, off by default.
    • The page behind your widgets is a deeper black, so panels read as panels.
    • Weather, Focus Timer and Habit Tracker gained softly lit surfaces.

  8. Bookmarks that have gone dead

    • Atrium can check your bookmarks and show you which ones no longer lead anywhere, everywhere they appear.
    • A readability pass across the whole app: darker panels, calmer accents, easier text.

  9. Archives and exports you can trust

    • Archiving a workspace now stores everything inside it, so restoring one brings it all back.
    • Downloading your account data now covers every table your information lives in.
